Painted Wall!

The wall in front of the church has been dramatically changed from a bland concrete to a powerful mural. Calvary Chapel Old Bridge worked on the wall during their stay in Managua. They spent many hours painting the wall and making sure it was done right. Now, the wall lets everyone walking in front of their church that Jesus Christ is the way to salvation!

La pared al frente de la iglesia ha sido dramáticamente cambiada de un concreto aburrido a una pintura mural poderosa. La Capilla de Calvario Old Bridge trabajó en la pared durante su tiempo en Managua. Ellos trabajaron muchas horas pintando la pared y asegurándose que fue hecho correctamente. ¡Ahora, la pared le dice a cada persona que camina frente a la iglesia que Jesucristo es el camino a la salvación!

Painted Jail!

We recently had the opportunity to paint the cells of the men’s jail where Brian and Gabo regularly go for prison ministry. The walls were unbelievably filthy, and Calvary Chapel Uncasville was here to help us clean them.

Recientemente tuvimos la oportunidad de pintar las celdas de la cárcel masculina donde Brian y Gabo van regularmente para el ministerio de cárcel. Las paredes estaban increíblemente sucias, y la Capilla del Calvario Uncasville nos ayudo a limpiarlas.

Calvary Chapel Anaheim

Calvary Chapel Anaheim was here for a week. They were busy with evangelism and outreach, as well as painting the inside of the church. They had a few dramas that they were able to perform at La Chureca, the Manchester community, the Peace Park as well as for our church. Please pray for those who attended the outreaches.

La Capilla de Calvario Anaheim estuvo aquí por una semana. Ellos estuvieron ocupados evangelizando, pintando el interior de la iglesia. Ellos tenían unos dramas que realizaron en La Chureca, la comunidad de Manchester, el Parque de Paz así como para nuestra iglesia. Calvary Chapel Corona

We also had a short visit from Calvary Chapel Corona. They blessed the kids with a Vacation Bible School and passed out water at La Chureca.

También tuvimos una visita corta de la Capilla del Calvario Corona. Ellos bendijeron a los niños con una Escuela Biblica de Vacaciones y regalaron el agua en La Chureca.

Baptism

We were blessed to baptize three people in the month of August. One of them was a boy from Oansa named Alfonso. Please pray for his growth and strength in the Lord, as well for Faviola and Frank who were baptized as well.

Fuimos bendicidos al bautizar a tres personas en el mes de agosto. Uno de ellos era un muchacho de Oansa llamado Alfonso. Por favor oren por su crecimiento y fortaleza en el Señor, y por Faviola y Frank que fueron bautizados también.
