Week 432

 

A Summer of Teams

 

During the months of July and August, we were blessed to have received five teams from the United States, including one new team from Pensacola Florida. We also were honored to have David DelBuono, a missionary from California, whose talent with children brought many smiles to the neighborhood and to various outreaches! Calvary Chapel Merritt Island completed some much-needed painting at the school. Calvary Chapel Melbourne hosted a beautiful couple’s night. Calvary Chapel Seattle carried out a successful medical clinic as well as creating a new sign for the church. Calvary Chapel Old Bridge ministered to nearly a hundred kids from the school by taking them on a day trip to a nearby vacation spot. There were numerous other outreaches to nearby neighborhoods and hospitals, and there were many projects completed around the church also. God is so good!

We are pleased to share that we have seen God do some wonderful things in our church this summer! Our youngest Oansa teams competed in the regional Oansa Olympics, taking first place in the games and second place in the scripture memory contest. The children had a wonderful time, and we are looking forward to watching the older teams compete in October. We were also blessed to finally see Ana Luisa and Juan Area married; their wedding was delayed for a long time due to complications with Ana Luisa’s identity card, but God is faithful. We are excited to share, too, that God is growing our church! We have some new people attending church consistently, including a young man named Jose, Giovanni’s brother. We are praying that God will continue to move in the lives of these individuals and of three who were recently baptized, including Ana Luisa’s husband, Juan; Cristobal Urbina’s son, Blanyor; and Rebecca’s daughter, Yolanda. Again, God is so good!

 

 

 

 

 

Durante los meses de julio y agosto, fuimos bendecidos por haber recibido cinco equipos de los Estados Unidos, incluido un nuevo equipo de Pensacola Florida. También nos hemos honrado en recibir a David DelBuono, un misionero de California, cuyo talento con los niños trajo muchas sonrisas para el barrio! Calvary Chapel Merritt Island completó algunas obras que eran tan necesaria como la pintura en la escuela. Calvary Chapel Melbourne fue quien organizó una hermosa reunión de parejas. Calvary Chapel de Seattle llevó a cabo exitosas consultas médicas. Calvary Chapel Old Bridge ministró a casi cien niños de la escuela al llevarlos en un viaje a las isletas de Granada. Hubieron numerosas campañas evangelistica a barrios cercanos y a los hospitales. Hubieron muchos proyectos terminados alrededor de la iglesia también. Dios es tan bueno!

! Nos complace compartir que hemos visto a Dios hacer algunas obras maravillosas en nuestra iglesia este verano! El equipo de Oansa compitió en los Juegos Olímpicos de Oansa regional, teniendo el primer lugar en los juegos y el segundo lugar en el aprendizaje de textos Bíblicos. Los niños tuvieron un tiempo maravilloso, y estamos esperando ver al otro grupo de niños mayores competir también en octubre. También tuvimos la bendición de ver finalmente Ana Luisa y Juan Area casándose; su boda fue retrasada durante mucho tiempo debido a complicaciones con Ana Luisa su identificación, pero Dios es fiel. ! Estamos muy contentos de compartir, también, que Dios sigue desarrollando la obra en nuestra iglesia! Tenemos algunas nuevas personas que asisten a la iglesia constantemente, entre ellos un joven llamado José, hermano de Giovanni. Estamos orando para que Dios se siga desarrollándose en la vida de estas personas y de tres que recientemente fueron bautizados, entre ellos el marido de Ana Luisa, Juan; el hijo de Urbina, Blanyor, y la hija de Rebecca, Yolanda. Una vez más, Dios es tan bueno!
